Arepaz Colombianas: Bringing a Taste of Home

Welcome to Arepaz Colombianas, where every bite tells a story of tradition, family, and peace. Founded by Angie Lozano, an immigrant from Bogotá, our mission is to share the rich cultural heritage of Colombia through our authentic, handmade arepas.

Our Story: A Legacy of Flavour and Peace

For over 45 years, the Lozano family has been crafting traditional Colombian arepas, passing down cherished recipes from generation to generation. When Angie Lozano immigrated from Bogotá to New York, she brought with her not just recipes, but a profound connection to her homeland.

The name "Arepaz" holds special meaning—combining "arepa" with "paz" (peace in Spanish). Every arepa we make is an offering of peace, comfort, and connection. It's our way of building bridges between cultures and creating a taste of home for those far from Colombia.

Each arepa is handmade with love, using authentic Colombian techniques and the finest ingredients. We believe food is more than sustenance—it's a celebration of heritage, family, and the warmth of sharing a meal together.
